If I'm being honest my final grade would be closer to a 4 star experience than a 3 but I don't feel swayed enough to outright give it 4 stars. During a recent stay I was fortunate enough to spend time in two different hotels which makes me a more valuable reviewer. As the mid level expense hotel for the area the Howard Johnson was perfectly suitable. The interior seemed updated and new, the bed was comfortable, and each room offered a small amount of outside seating with two plastic chairs provided. Given the opportunity this hotel would be my landing sit from but in if I was in town. It's clean enough and modern enough to be worthy of the free extra dollars you might spend.

Very nice place with nice people working there. Great location. So close to shopping and restaurants as well as museums.

A perfect place to stay with easy access to the highway. The restaurant (part of the motel) is very handy and offers great food and service.

Fantastic location. Staff is wonderful. Pool is a good size. Rooms are big and beautiful.
