Nothing will ever replace Lloyd’s but this establishment was like a blast from the past! My 2 kids and I enjoyed ourselves here. I am grateful for the learning rink and having a ref in there to give tips to the newbies was very helpful. Coffee was good, thankful for the oat milk option. Majority of the employees were very nice, there was one with shaved hair who seemed a bit annoyed with the general public though. It was a bit steep cost wise but we will try to budget another day there in the near future!
Great place. Had a really good time. Only complaint I have is the one guy who works there with the eyeliner yelling at everyone to bend their knees. Its hard enough trying to learn woth out some guy screaming at us
Love this place! Great for beginners for practicing, also good for friends gathering!nnNo outside food and drinks! You must purchase from the food bar inside.nnThere is also a small practice corner for people who wants to practice before going out to the rink.
My husband took me for a date recently to the House Of Skate. I myself cannot skate at all, but really wanted to try it out. The staff were so friendly and accommodating for this ol’ gal staying in the learning area all night :nThe food is decent, fast food style, and cheap as heck.nI space is beautiful and the music was SO good!nWill definitely be back, probably falling more than skatingnThank you to the entire staff for being great, especially Wolfie for the quick tips and tricks!
House of Skate is SO much fun. Today was my first time trying indoor skating and I 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone no matter what level beginner, intermediate, advanced, doesn't matter because all are welcome and you'll feel welcome. I took a class with Rowan who is a total joy and EXCELLENT coach, then impromptu stayed for the open skate session because I had so much fun in the class and entrance to open skate was discounted!. Also the facility is nice and spacious, clean, organized and the staff are friendly. Don't miss out, check this place out!
