Nice experience with staff and purchasing a set of decorative chairs and sectional couch. They only caution I'll give potential other shoppers (especially since this apparently happens more often than you might think) is to compare the product numbers on your bill vs display products vs paper examples. We wanted exactly what was on the store floor and in the end the wrong sectional format was ordered. Hotchkiss took care of it without issue but had we caught it earlier we would have had the right couch a month earlier.

Best service in the city for furniture. Professional and courteous. Offered help from the moment we walked through the door. Would recommend to anyone looking for new furniture.

Finally, our nightmare ended with Hotchkiss today Feb. 11,2017. My husband and I purchased 3 pieces of furniture on Nov.22, 2016. Delivery came early in January. Two out of three pieces of furniture were defective. One recliner($1300) and coffee table($230) were damaged. After several phone calls, Hotchkiss did send two service men to look at the recliner and coffee table. Both men thought that both items should be replaced but they were not sure how the problem would be resolved. Although it required several phone calls and a visit to the store, a new coffee table was ordered and parts for the recliner also. The new coffee table was also defective and the parts for the recliner did arrive and were installed. After, waiting again to find a solution for the coffee table another phone call was made. Our money was refunded for the coffee table. Hotchkiss's staff were very disappointing. Lack of communication and respect were displayed throughout our experience with them. I would not recommend buying anything from them.

Convenient location, but little parking.... staff seemed nice but very pushy.... furniture looks nice but most of it was ashley which I've never had any luck with.
