Wonderful campground. We had our family reunion there with a total of 43 people. We used full hook ups, cabins, the cottage and tent sites. It was so nice to have accommodations for everyone on site. Everything was perfect, the bathrooms and shower houses were clean and well maintained, the grounds are beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and responded immediately to any and all of our requests. We used the pavilion each evening for the entire group to be together for meals and activities. The location is the perfect Black Hills location with easy access to all of the sites. We will definitely stay there again.

Horse Their Campground is a family friendly campground. The staff are very kind and helpful. It offers clean places to go to the rest room and take a shower available for both tent campers and RV campers. The commodities are super nice. For RVers they have all the hook ups, sewage, electrical and water. For tent campers they have multiple sites that have been leveled off for ease of setting up a level tent, but they also have spots fir those of a more traditional route where they the ground isn't leveled. Course Their Campground also has little cabins that can be rent that contain electricity, heat and AC, however the cabins do not have plumbing. All your latrine business and dish washing is done at the restrooms. The resort offers its customers a place to go swimming too. The pool is warmed and always kept clean. Close to the pool area there is a place to relax and grill under the gazebo with the provided propane and stoves. Did I mention you can play basketball or play on the monkey gym playground next to the gazebo? All that can make for a great evening spent with family after sight seeing all the wonders South Dakota has to offer. I have stayed here three nights so far and haven't found anything i dislike about this campground. It has a little bit of everything for whomever wants to spend some time camping, relaxing and vacationing.

Facilities where great. Very friendly people campground was very pretty surrounded by pines. We stayed 10 days. Have area for kids to play and is close to Mt. Rushmore, Hill City is about 15 minutes away in case you need groceries or want to eat out.

We stayed here for a week and had no problems. The sites are nice and spacious and have great views. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are hot. They have a sink with hot/cold water to wash dishes which made things so much easier. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice log-style cabins with heat and air conditioning, hotel fridge, clean restroom and showers nearby. All gravel roads. Bunk beds are nice sleeping. One issue, I'm six-foot and I couldn't sit upright on the edge of the bottom bunk without always clunking the base of my neck and head on the edge of the upper bunk. Upper bunk is 24 inches above bottom bunk mattress, which could be ok for children. For adults it could be raised up at least 8 to 12 inches so you can sit upright on the edge of the bed. IMHO. Thanks.
