Homewood Suites by Hilton North Bay

This place IS the best place I have ever stayed at. It has everything. The staff are 100% top notch. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. The locating is to die for . You are right across from the lake. I was blessed to have been here during the summer but yet to have experienced the winter months. I'll update on how the winter goes. 100/10 for the employees. 9/10 for the rooms.

I recently stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton North Bay, and unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. The hotel was nearly booked up, so room selection was limited. Even so, we paid close to double what we’ve paid at other Homewood locations in the past and expected a clean, well-maintained room.nnInstead, our room was disappointing: the carpet had a large rip, the cutlery drawer was a mess, and the bathroom tiles were discoloured. These are not minor issues for a hotel that positions itself as premium.nnI rarely complain, but in this case I brought my concerns to the front desk. I was assured management would contact me—yet after three unreturned calls, it wasn’t until my fourth attempt that the General Manager finally called back. Her response shocked me. Rather than acknowledging the condition of the room or showing any concern, she insisted the rooms were in “pristine condition.” That dismissive approach showed no accountability and no consideration for the customer experience.nnThis was an extremely disappointing stay. Based on both the poor room condition and the lack of professional customer service, I cannot recommend this hotel. We will not be booking at this location again, and after this experience, we are reconsidering staying with any Hilton property in the future.

All great here, spacious rooms! Only complaint, which some other hotels have, is that there are feather pillows on the beds, I i think they can do away with them for allergy reasons. The larger ones are feather, foam in smaller ones.

Stayed here the evening my mum was discharged from the hospital, after a very challenging and exhausting 72-hours. Customer service was above and beyond - special shoutout to Preston for welcoming us so warmly and finding us a quiet room to rest. Cleanliness was amazing - I am really picky and the suite was spotless! Even the breakfast outdid our expectations, with lots of options for our gluten and dairy sensitivities. We all slept so well. I've bookmarked this Homewood Suites for future reference and if we ever need to stay in North Bay again, it will be our very top choice.

This hotel made for a great stay for my parents while they were visiting. Clean & comfortable with room to move around. Very tasty breakfast according to my parents. Ideal location, being so close to the lake & downtown.nThe only drawbacks were that my parents stayed in the accessible room, & it could get a little noisy with the people going in & out of the side door. Also, be careful of sitting on the foot of the bed. Two of us sat there at the same time & the mattress began tilting alarmingly.
