Homewood Suites by Hilton North Bay

We recently booked a weekend at Homewood Suites North Bay to celebrate my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary, and we could not have been happier with the experience! From the moment my parents arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make them feel truly special.nnA huge thank you to Kerry, Sheri, and their amazing team for their warm and friendly service. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness turned the weekend into a celebration my parents will never forget. They made sure every moment was perfect, and it was clear that the entire team takes great pride in creating exceptional guest experiences.nnMy parents couldn’t stop raving about how welcomed they felt and how much care was put into making their milestone anniversary so memorable. They’re already planning to return for another stay!nnThank you again for making this celebration so wonderful: your team truly made it their best weekend ever. Great evening spent!!nnCheck in was supposed to be fast and easy. now you may be asking why I said supposed to be yet still gave 5 star review. Because eventho there were complications, our front desk agent Sherri, went above and beyond helping us through some technical hiccups. Even to the extent of prioritizing us before other clients which we declined holding others up. Family and pet friendly rooms. Awesome selection of breakfast foods included.

Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean well-appointed comfortable. They offer a really good hot breakfast both days was scrambled eggs one day was female bacon one day was sausage links they also had Yukon Gold potatoes roasted I think. They offered breakfast burritos with perhaps six or eight different fillings lots of different muffins and yogurt and fruits coffee tea. A really good breakfast. The only thing that might require some attention is the parking lot had quite a few hard bumps of snow throughout. Dent affect the entry and exit just made it a little bit bumpier though. Had a very nice stay - room was great and very clean. Loved the separate living/kitchen area from the bedroom. Kitchen is nicely stocked with pretty much all you need - it saved us money because we didn’t have to go out for every meal. My only complaint would be the bed was too soft and probably needs to be replaced. Close to the lake with nice walking paths and close to Main Street as well.

We have 2 energetic kids who love swimming. We specifically chose this hotel because of their pool. There was no notification that the pool was not able to be used. When we checked in there was no notification that the pool was not able to be accessed during our stay. Our boys were so disappointed when they put on their bathing suits and watched as we could not access the pool with out key room. My husband went to the front desk and the response was uncaring, staff basically said. OH WELL. SORRY ABOUT YOUR LUCK. They refused to give a refund for our stay so we could find another hotel with a functional pool as advertised. This hotel has false advertisement as we told the staff from front desk as they did not notify that the pool was non functional and again basically said. OH WELL.
