Days Inn & Suites North Bay

We arrived at like 3am, so were exhausted. Ended up only being a king suite available which of course cost more. I am able to forgive that as it was late and it was busy... Though doubtful at that point whether they would have sold the room. The clerk was very nice tho for the night. The morning clerk when we checked out was not. Had to dial the front desk to get her attention when she was only in the back... It was check out time pretty much exactly 11 she should have been ready for people. The room was not great either. The door had been plastered over at spots. It did not close properly. Had to use a little force. Everything echoed into the room. I am sure if we had not been so exhausted any little noise would have been loud enough to keep is up. So as a last resort this hotel is fine. I would not go there again for any other reason.

This facility was a bit older but the rooms are nice. The reason I am giving this place a 5* regardless of the shape the building is in, is because Jenna at the front counter is absolutely radiating with positivity! She has made this place! If she doesn't deserve a raise then I don't know who does. She was wonderful on the phone when I booked (cracking jokes) and just so nice to deal with in general. If this place ever loses her then they have lost my business for the next time I am in this area for work as well!

Rooms are OK. Was charged more than the rate guaranteed. Hotel management contacted me after I complained and offered a refund on the difference. Good location downtown with good parking. All round excellent value.

Due to a highway closure I was unable to make it to my cottage. I was despite for a place to stay and most hotels, motels and inns were quickly being booked up if they were not already. After calling about 10 places, I called Day's Inn. The lady I spoke to was very polite and empathetic to my situation. She offered me a discount on my room and promised that everything would be ready for me whenever I made it. At about 2am I finally arrived at Day's Inn, and as promised everything was ready for me and the room was just what I needed

I want to give a shout out to the wonderful manager at Days Inn. Jenna you're skills in the customer service field are absolutely perfect. You're staff was always smiling and I am grateful for the accommodations you made for my family while staying there. I can't wait until the next time I'm in North Bay! :)
