Days Inn & Suites North Bay

The sheets are not clean. Gave me hives.nThe room smelled like smoke.nBed had previous guests hair on itnSheets weren’t totally cleannI itched all night.nnIt isn’t a dump but I think this place needs to be kept more tidy and sanitary. Please make sure that the rooms are being aired out from smoke smell, especially seeing that guests aren’t supposed to smoke.nPlease clean the sheets well.nnDon’t know what I’m allergic to but the sheets made me itch and these are the hives that came about afterwards

Rooms are clean, great location. It's run down more on the outside than in. Short walk to beach and downtown. Of course some things aren't as fancy as a 4 star hotel but that's not why you'd rent here. I have stayed here twice now. One employee I have seen was SO good with her service working July 4th at around 4 .. other employees need to learn from her. Didn't have the same experience this morning. It's 1 thing to have policies and follow them but that also is meant to go hand and hand with service and maybe less attitude. I almost took my visa back and checked in somewhere else but others work hard and are so kind here !nGreat location, clean rooms.. service can be good when the right person is at the front. I'm still so mad but everyone works hard and I won't take that away from this place.

I was greeted by Deep, excellent customer service and very accommodating. The room is clean, but everything outside of it is a bit dated and can be intimidating at times. But the value on the room is exceptional especially you have a patio and access to a good fusion restaurant. Highly recommend for ppl with pets, super nice and conveniently located close to the beach and broad walk. Excellent downtown restaurants nearby too.

Usually, you get what you pay for, but for the price, this hotel gives you more than one would expect. Sufficiently renovated, comfortable bed. Quiet. There’s an elevator. Adequate free parking. Close to many walkable locations. Friendly staff. Last time I stayed in North Bay, I paid $150/night elsewhere. This hotel has everything I needed for a 2-night business trip.

We stayed in room 309. As you can see from my photos it was not clean. There were no towels or cloths in the room when we arrived and I had to call twice for them. Didn’t think much of it, but I now see that this was a precursor for what we were about to experience.nnMy family came here for a celebration of life service. My mom’s room did not have a functional bathroom door, my aunts room had mold in the bathroom, as did ours. The doorknob on the closet was literally hanging off and the balcony was covered in spider webs and broken concrete bits.nnThere were police at the hotel at one point for citizens causing issues. The guests below us were also loud and rude, the front desk did NOTHING but literally watch them on thier balcony while these guests cat called other people close enough to hear them. Some of the room numbers on our floor were broken, the windows were covered in brush and cobwebs in the hallways; brush outside and cobwebs inside. The ice machine was down as well.nnThe cherry on top was when my husband used the luggage dolly to transport our bags on our departure date and the elevator closes on him; LITERALLY SQUISHING HIM IN THE DOORWAY. The alarm is going off and the reception staff as well as my son and I can hear it from the third floor. I looked at the woman at the reception desk in horror and she says “don’t worry this is normal. It’s a new elevator” I said “are you nuts? This is NOT normal!” I ran up the stairs and my husband is literally prying the doors open. Not one person asked if he was ok, injured, nothing.nnWhoever owns this place does not care about the quality of his business. This is disgusting. The room was over $160/ night for less than cleanly conditions. This is not the kind of hotel that provides safety to thier guests if they think broken fixtures and moldy bathrooms are acceptable.
