3.5 stars Located off Pine St south with a large lot out front for the donut crowd. The ordering area is not that big and no seating inside. The staff is efficient in the order and packaging not very neat and if presentation is important, tell them to separate the bulkier items and they will get stacked upon. They have both the yeast and cake old school donuts which are quickly becoming extinct with the take over of the hockey player chain. There is a few picnic tables out front if you choose to indulge immediately.

Big selection. Friendly staff. Great prices...$10 half dozen / $16 dozen Opens at 8am...may close before 4pm if they sell out! Drop in next time you are in Thorold!

My fav donut the cherry stick is almost lost treasure. I heard these folks had them still and I've tried them on a few different occasions. They are dry and have barely any icing on them and not flavorful at all. I can't speak to their other donuts, but if you're looking for a cherry stick hit up Country fresh.

We stopped in on a whim to get a treat after some errands and the gentleman behind the counter was so sweet. There wasn't much available given time of day, but what was there was fantastic! WE bought a 6 pack of what might be the biggest doughnuts I have ever seen and they even tossed in a blueberry fritter for us to sample. : We will definitely be going back soon.

You get what you pay for. More expensive than the typical tims or Zehrs donuts but far superior. Way worth the extra few bucks for a way better product.

Fresh, quality, delicious donuts and well-priced - under $5 for a medium drink and an apple fritter. The staff member that was there was very friendly, I could tell she enjoys her job. I got there first thing, which is recomended, and they had a great selection. I love that they are locally on site! made fresh every day.

No word to describe the amazing mouth watering greatness that comes from this bakery !!!! Whatever the secret is.. please keep it to yourselves bit continue to do it !!! Absolutely amazing hands down you'll never find a day that'll have you dissatisfied not even the slightest!

Half of their donuts are great. Theyre all home made. They also sell ice cream in the summer i was told. My only issue is that alot of their donuts are very heavy and sometimes hard because of it. Which is why i love their sugar/cinnamon donuts. Sugar swirls. Which also they have cinnamon ones. And my fav and everyone elses it seems is their maple donut log with home made whipped cream inside and peanuts ontop. Not much of a maple fan but these donuts are delicious and sell out usually by 9am. Not sure how many more batches they make thru the day. But its almost a 5 star rating other than they heavy donuts. And the workers have always been kind and definately deserve tips if you can afford it.

Donuts are ok. A little dry in my opinion and over fried. Maybe the time of day I bought them. I wouldn’t make a big trip to get them.
