Fantastic little place! Most of the selection is made in-store by the bakers and they have a good selection of Kawartha Dairy ice cream if that's your thing. I would definitely go back. Everyone was polite, friendly and helpful, and they all seemed like they were happy to be at work, which is a very refreshing change from most other places I've shopped at. 6 stars out of 5!
I debated putting this review but each time I give them "another try" they are still the same. Their products are good and subs are great. However if your store opens at 7am why is it each time I ask for deli meat or a sub to be made I get the same dirty look?? EVERY time??? If you don't like dealing with the public and you thrive on being miserable to your customers perhaps you should find another job? Just saying
Mitchell's has a large variety of items, including a wide variety of baked goods and treats, a deli, hot and cold prepared meals, frozen meals, groceries and so much more! The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you haven't been I highly recommend checking this place out. Especially if you need a quick meal that's also delicious. More than just a bakery by far.
Bought frozen meatballs no sauce had good flavour. My daughter likes rainbow bagels. Little higher price than grocery store for some things but it is a specialty store and its pricing is on par with others like it.
This place could benefit from a staff training on customer service. Manager acts as if helping a customer is an inconvenience, very condescending. Food is okay and it's nice to have lots of pre prepared meal options in the frozen section.
We had their " famous beef on a bun" . There was a small booboo in the order that I had not even noticed, but they did and gave us a courtesy call and dealt with it perfect .. Our guests loved the food and kept asking where we got it from.
Amazing staff and store..family run and makes you feel like you're family everytime you go in...great one-stop..amazing food...amazing staff and owner..You gotta try it...!!! Been going there longer than I can remember...lol
Had a fresh pasta salad filled for me to go. Always fresh. Super friendly staff and soo many meal ideas! Bakery is top notch too
First time in market and it had everything.Like that say soup to nuts.Great help and funny cashier.Brightened the day.Thank you
Love the bread, crumpets, homemade meals to go, donuts, tabouli, croissant and frozen food. Prices are reasonable. Even discounted items are fresher and better quality than retail stores.
