Holiday Inn Express Roseburg

I was here for 10 days and I have to say I had the worst sleep at any hotel I have ever stayed at, and I travel a lot for work. The rooms are very noise. I was on the 3rd floor, and could here the people on the floor above me running around and the ones on either side talking or snoreing. The side walk outside makes a lot of noise. It is like there is no insulation in the rooms. They are however clean, the staff is extremely nice. And the view is beautiful.

Staff are awesome! Indoor pool. Outdoor spa right on the river. Very accommodating in every way. Cats also allowed. Hot breakfast! Many breakfast options. All included.

Rooms are fairly standard for holiday inn express. However, rooms are facing outdoors and not soundproofed well. The rear end of the room has a small patio, however last night a couple was having a conversation in the outdoor hot tub and I could hear it clearly through my closed door...

The staff was VERY helpful, the 2 queen size bedroom was clean and cheery with a view of the Umpqua River. The breakfast presentation was the best with many choices. My husband and I were happy with the accommodations as we visited Roseburg for a medical appointment.

Love the river view from EVERY room! Very close to I-5 freeway and easy to find. Card Locks to external stairway didn't, but overall nice place.
