Holiday Inn Express Lordstown-Newton Falls/Warren

Hot breakfast was limited. All meat was sausage flavored. Only hot food not sausage in nature was the eggs and oatmeal. No pancakes or waffles. Rooms comfortable and clean. You can hear the highway from the front rooms. Walls and floors not well insulated, so you hear your neighbors walking around at night and their 4am shower! Fridge and microwave in the room.

The location is between the on-ramp and the freeway but if you consider the rest of the surrounding area you want to be close to the highway. The mattresses were very old and the Linens also we're very old didn't feel very nice. We had four pillows on each queen bed so there were plenty of pillows. Breakfast was well-maintained, it was a standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast with omelets, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, milk, chocolate milk, cranberry juice, orange juice, apple juice several kinds of toasted bagels/toast stuff, and a pancake machine. Pool was closed for repair. We were offered an upgraded room when I said my kid would be disappointed. I would rather swim in the pool than have a larger room that was just as mediocre as the standard room. Check-in was tediously long, but no longer than usual. We stated here because it was 10k IHG points per night. That's a good rate for this location.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is! We stayed there for a wedding and were leery about staying there, because it is right off the expressway and the price was so reasonable. It could not have been more perfect. The man at the desk went above and beyond to accommodate our family! The manager was also helpful. The rooms were clean and nice and even had a kuerig coffee pot in each one ( that was nice!). The breakfast bar had many choices and the staff working at the breakfast bar were so pleasant. Even when they were closing, they let my daughter get some food to take to the room to her sleeping daughter. I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Kudos to this Holiday Inn and their staff!

This is a wonderful hotel--outstanding staff, clean rooms, great continental breakfast and reasonable rates. I would definitely stay here again.
