Hampton Inn by Hilton Youngstown North

Although the 3rd floor was being renovated when I stayed here, I actually liked almost everything of this hotel. I especially want to thank and appreciate the kindness of the front desk gentleman. I will test their complimentary breakfast tomorrow and if I don't update this review, it's all good then. The only con, a small one, is that their bathroom needs to be renovated. It's a bit old and the fan gives you a creepy sound. Don't watch a horror movie before checking in. LOL

We just checked in and I am beyond disappointed with this hotel. Entered the hotel and it’s filthy from the lobby all the way to the room. I have several red stains on the carpet and the bed skirts has dried white stains, I have absolutely no clue what that could be. Seriously in need for some updates and renovations. We are due to check out Sunday and to be truthfully honest I want a refund and search for another place. I’m not sure who posted all these 4-5 star ratings but I believe they may be use to shortcomings with hotel stays. Remind you we just checked in 20 minutes ago and over it already.

In process of renovation, some items were missing in room, but they were very accommodating in getting them for us. Friendly staff, decent breakfast ,ample parking.

I went to this hotel for a training with my company. The staff was quiet, but pleasant. The conference room was nice at first sight, but had some odd instances. There was a strange rattling in the light fixture, as if something was crawling around in there. Between the conference room and the lobby, there appeared to be small flying insects to contend with. Aside from that, the placement from the freeway is convenient. The bathrooms are clean and the lobby is comfortable, with enough space for a small to mid-size hotel. Clean furniture and fixtures in the common areas round out what I was able to see during my visit.
