Hodgkinson Home Hardware

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I called before driving in to check availability on a product and when I said I'd be there soon, they had it all picked out for me waiting at the counter. Has that oldschool customer service where you're a human and not just a dollar.

Nice folks working here, but it's such a small store that depending what you need, the selection can be terrible. Everytime I look online, what I need is in stock at most other HH stores, but never this one.

Friendly neighborhood environment always helpful and sometimes some really good sales!

Hours kinda suck for people that work during the day and need to run and grab something after 6pm. Staff is friendly though.

This store has been really good during Covid to accomodate customer needs. I have been patronizing them for 20+ years- their prices are fair and they have a huge selection of products. So much better than the big box stores for convenience and service. They deserve more customer loyalty especially after how they have performed over the last tough year.

Not a good place to find stuff but the stuff is kinda cheap and expensive

Made a purchase at this location, but since they close so early, I ended up making a return at the next closest home hardware. That location accepted my return and provided me with a credit note negative balance on a receipt that is linked to my phone number since I had left my wallet in the car and I didn't want to hold up the line. I was able to use this credit note at that other home hardware just fine, but when I tried to use the remaining balance at this home hardware the cashier laughed at me and told me to go back to the other location. The original receipt from this location was attached. Strange how the other location can be so accommodating and has no issues with returns from other home hardwares. It is fine if that's the policy but the cashier treated me like I was trying to steal from them and just laughed at me for thinking I could use a home hardware balance at their location. Ps. Return was necessary because your associate provided incorrect information.
