Hodge Podge Toys

Great shop with lots of toys, and staff that go above and beyond any other toy stores out there. They put thought into every single product they carry, considering how it helps young infants develop cognitively and the materials contained within them. The staff and especially manager are especially amazing. They will let you know exactly what materials are contained in their products, how to care for them and which ones are a match for your child's development stage.

Great store, neat products. You will see very little in the way of traditional toys but the staff is great at explaining items and introducing you to them. I would definitely buy stuff for kids here.

We went to the Hodge Podge toys shops at don mills on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. It was freezing cold -10 and we found parking very difficult and walked with my 2 year old son to the store but at 8:30 the doors were locked and they were cleaning the floor and told us they have different hours than the hours mentioned in the Google which is 9 p.m. on Fridays. After a working week we could manage to go to the Toy store at that time only because we had promised our son to take him to the Toy store that night and we relay on the hours mentioned on Google. If we knew they don't care about hours mentioned on Google we could have gone to another store instead. That was a sad night for me although it is only about Toys and kids, it is even more important that other things.

Very friendly staff. A good mic of Made in Canada/Made in the US products on hand.
