Hockey Sushi

Quick service, decent sushi for lunch. You're not going to find the high end sushi rolls for lunch just like any other lunch sushi places. Not too many in the area so glad this one is decent. Good for work lunches. Staff is nice.

Food is great. Now that the management has changed the morale of the staff is better. They have an excellent selection of sushi rolls, especially the Lettuce Rolls (which are hard to find elsewhere). Many other establishments in the area went out of business, including Maki Sushi. They simply cannot compete with the quality. I sincerely believe that Hockey Sushi takes all reviews to heart and strives for the better.

If I could give them 0 stars out of 5 I would. My husband and I have been loyal customers to this place for over 4 years. Even after moving further out of the area, we still traveled to the location. After today, we will NEVER be returning. The service has never been great but today was horrible. There is a miserable looking waitress there, who gave us a dirty look when we arrived, as though we walked into her living room unannounced for a meal! She then rudely told us we had to eat the salmon sushi in it's entirety or we would be billed for it. When I tried to explain I had been going there for over 4 years and had never been told I must eat the entire salmon sushi, she talked over me, barking like an animal "'I have been working here for over 9 years..." Now I've heard of this rule in other establishments, but never at this one, but the way this server relayed the message was rude, unprofessional and quite offensive. The sushi is good here, but I would rather go somewhere, that appreciates my business! STAY AWAY IF YOU APPRECIATE QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We came here at 22:02, and thay close at 23:00 to eat roll of sushi and they told as we close. Never back again!

The new management surely is taking this place downhill. We used to come here for the last 2 years but After today, we will NEVER be returning. The service was always great but today was horrible. The waiters were very very rude !! Customers beware !!!!
