I didn't know what to expect at first look being housed in an older building. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Wood floors! I thought that was cool best thing it was everything was clean and everyone was friendly. Food was decent and overall it was a pleasant experience.

Took my girl there on a date in 1975, it became ‘our’ restaurant. Never disappointed. We were back last week, and felt at home. Good food & service. My bacon wasn’t crispy enough, and the server quickly brought me 2 pieces that were exactly what I wanted. A Substitution was no problem .

This is hands down the best southern style breakfast in Tacoma. Great friendly staff, family atmosphere...number 1 hands down!

Excellent food, excellent service. Definitely a step above the rest for good old fashioned American comfort food. Love em.
