This was a fun stop, serving beer to this neighborhood since 1935. they have a great tap beer selection beer wine only, a what looks like a thousand old tap handles spread throughout the ceiling area. I had the bacon cheeseburger and a cup of bean soup, both were delicious. Friendly conversation was had with some of the regulars, will stop back again
Had wanted to try this place for a while and it didn't disappoint! Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, but not packed. Had an amazing burger and the staff was extremely friendly, efficient and hard-working. An upscale dive bar, the crowd was mostly 30s+. Tip: if you're eating there, take a second to check out the chalk board to the left of the bar for any special of the day.
Great neighborhood tavern here visiting my mom my brother told I would like Parkway Tavern he was right. It has good beer good food and most of all the friendliest staff and a great little game room also.
Great, friendly, fast service. You can eat a full meal here for $11 or less! Lots of yummy looking offerings on the menu, too. The soup of the day was delicious and a full bowl just $5. Game room in back was too cold! One little star off for that. A Tacoma staple!Food: 5/5
While I'm not for drinking, every time I go there, I'm well satisfied with the service and food. Their bacon is also super crispy and extremely flavorful while still being a nice thick slice. The clam chowder is also a fantastic choice, and wish it were available more often than it is.
This has been a hometown favorite bar for 11 years. Consistently the best selection of beer and many new tap rotations. The locals know the various parties and celebrations through the year are the most fun. Cool spot in Stadium. Service is fantastic, small dining room, bar games, great atmosphere, and lots of beer options. I had a chicken quesadilla and it was delicious.
Super cozy place with a great atmosphere and AMAZING FOOD. Got a mushroom swiss burger, a couple quesadillas, and so much ginger ale if you like non-alcoholic ginger beer, the local variety in the purple can SLAPS. The house soup was cheddar beer, and there's something very satisfying about drinking liquid cheese. The staff are all super friendly and attentive - Sean, our wonderful quesadilla chef, is THE MAN. My friends enjoyed the hard cider options - this is definitely a great spot for getting acquainted with new people. A lot of free street parking, too.
Awesome local pub. Great atmosphere with good food and an impressive selection of beer and cider on tap. Our server/bartender Jamie was great.
Everyone that works here is EXTREMELY friendly! There food is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming! I've had great times here and will continue have great times!
