Hilltop Diner has been in business since 1946. We still serve many of our original menu items, keeping our customers coming back, year after year.

Story

Whether you come for breakfast or lunch, we’re always glad to see you. We treat every customer like a special guest in our home. We hope you enjoy our delicious food and fabulous service in a unique atmosphere.

We suggest you try our famous Hilltop Burger, our infamous Turkey Clubhouse, our amazing Hilltop Eggs Benedict, some hand pulled french fries, or our unique Cinnamon Bread French toast. You gotta try our coveted double-smoked, thick-cut, Ennis Farms bacon. We make our own beef and sausage patties, slow roast our own turkeys, and make homemade soups daily.

Located in a 1930’s house, Hilltop Diner is an iconic building, having made cameos in countless movies and TV shows including The X Files, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Butterfly Effect, Smallville, Fringe, Tin Man, Flash Gordon, and more.

The staff here make this place.  They hustle and keep customers moving. The whole time we were there there was a line up of people waiting to be seated, but it moves quickly.  The portion sizes are plenty. Saw a few people sharing; especially a piece of pie (which there are many kinds to choose from).  You can even take a frozen fruit pie home with you.

Yumyumyum comfort food!!!! They take good care of every customer, very helpful especially when you have a little one. What more can you ask from a restaurant! (Try to go when they open, food/service is so good that the place filled up within 20 minutes of opening)

Honestly, this restaurant SHOULD NOT get anything less than a 5 star rating. Their banana cream pies are amazing beyond explanation. I usually find French Toast extremely filling but when I tried theirs, I ate... every... last... bite. Most would drive by this cute little restaurant but when you take time to observe, you'll find this diamond in the rough. It is usually always busy because of all the local, so I would advise getting there early. Dinner is not available. One more thing, the staff are super friendly! 😁

We enjoyed the friendly service. The food was tasty. The waiter kept our coffee filled. I recommend it. It's not fast food so don't go if you're in a rush. Also the hours are shorter than most places, so look that up before you go.

Good for a long AND good time!

Great service! We were served by one of the co-owners, and she was lovely, attentive, and great at managing her staff.

I returned with my grandparents and they loved the old school atmosphere.
