In the past, I haven't had good experiences with doctors. Some other places I went to, they would act like they understood my issues rather than having me explain. If I needed to see a doctor, I'd typically just go to an urgent care if it was necessary. I have been a patient here for just about a year I think. The staff is always friendly and easy to talk to, the nurses are willing to listen to my questions, concerns, and comments each time. I strongly recommend looking into this doctor's office if you're looking for a GP.

Highland Medical PC offers quality care. The staff call patients to remind you of your consultation. The staff are courteous and often remember you by name. The wait time is minimal. The physicians and nurse practitioners complete a thorough examination. They have great bedside manners. The office staff work well as a team. It is an ideal location to obtain care.

Always a great experience. Not to long a wait. Staff very friendly and professional. Dr. Bryan is the best. Takes his time and doesn't rush when he sees you. Answers any questions about your health you may have. Follows up with you if needed. Really cares about you.

I only had one Dr at Highland, however my Dr of 20yrs retired. I looked here for more care and to my Surprise I'm getting Better Updated treatment and medicine I'm feeling better than I have in years. The Staff and Doctors are Professional, Friendly and spend time listening and explaining things in a way that's easy to understand.

My experience with the Intake Staff, to the Nurse who did my Vitals, and my Cardiologist Doctor Byran, was impressed me all the time, The entire Team is all about Serving, and Treating, one Person at a time. I always feel like I am there for help, and they do not Rush, but takes their time, so that I can grasp what is being said. This is a Wonderful Place for my heart .

I arrived several minutes early and did not have to wait at all for my 9:30 appointment. Debra Gilhooly, my nurse practitioner, is personable and skilled. She checked that I have a script for my mammogram and bone density test, and asked if anything had changed in my health status. This was a pleasant experience.

My former doctor's practice was taken over by Highland Medical Group about 2 years ago. I am not naming names, as the doctors themselves are not really the problem. The problem is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get prescriptions refilled. This has happened a few times already. I went for my appointment, was told the prescription would be called in, wait a a few days or a week, and realize I haven't been notified by the pharmacy and the prescription was never called in. If you call the phone number at the office, it is never answered by a person. NEVER. They are always unavailable to answer the phone at this time. The message asks that you leave your name and number and that they will call you back. But they never call back. NEVER. So I learned to call the main business number "to make an appointment" and sometimes a person actually picks up that call. Explain the story, tell them you went for an office visit and that the prescription was not called in. So they take a message and say they will pass it along to the office. Wait a few days, a week... no calls, no prescription refilled. Call back again, repeat... its like the movie "Groundhog Day" if you get the reference. Finally decided that this is not acceptable, so I am changing doctors. Called to get my records sent to the nee doctor. Guess what? It takes 30 days to send the records. Oh wait, not really 30 days.... 30 BUSINESS days. So I guess I am supposed to wait 30 BUSINESS days. And assuming they fulfill the records request as efficiently as they process prescription refills, I will starting the record request process again abut 2 months from now. P.S. One star because you can't give zero

Wow, what can i say? Went late to Doctors office after was informed via message service that office was open and the Doctor would see me. After arrival, door was locked and appeared to be no one in office. Took a chance and knocked several times. Surprisingly, a member of the staff opened and informed me that they were closed. I informed her that i was instructed to go to office and would be seen. It just so happened that the Doctor was at the reception area and heard my statement. He then told the staff member that he would see me, even though, there were no scheduled visits for me. I was no grateful that he would do that for me. This doctor is an older doctor who i had seen 5 years ago. Well, he is an ANGEL to me. He did not have to accommodate me and could have just walked to the back and not responded to the staff member. Bet your life that any other doctor younger in practice would have "NEVER" seen me!!!!!! This Doctor, Doctor Hodes is a gentleman and true to his profession. I commend him and his staff who were very professional from the beginning to the end. By the way, Dr. Hodes examined me on a Wednesday night and by Thursday I was feeling 95% better with his prescribed medication for my illness. Not even at our local hospital would i have been treated like a human and in such short time to be diagnosed and prescribed medication for myself. Bet you cant beat that one!

Staff very professional and attentive. The wait time to be seen is minimal, as they don't seem to overbook appointments. Dr. Kelly, the best.Performs very thorough exams. I totally recommend this place.

Was in the exam room quickly…Carol took care of vitals professionally and friendly and I saw Dr Southren within about 10 minutes. Been a patient if his for 20 + years and all my questions and minor concerns were handled. Was not rushed and left with no questions or concerns.
