Tried the crunchy Ovaltine milk tea and the soy milk tea with mochi. Both had good tea flavour and creative. The Ovaltine drink didn't have much Ovaltine flavour. We got the golden tapioca which was light in flavour but good texture. The soy milk with mochi has the mochi on the side in a little ziplock baggy. I really liked the nutty powder the drink is topped with.
Their drinks all taste good, especially for the taro ball drinks and the oatmeal & purple rice drinks. The environment is neat and beautiful. A good place to have a drink with friends and take some pretty photos.
Order a Cherry Blossom drink. Pretty good will order it again. Hope to try other flavours as well.

Pretty nice quality bubble tea. Service was a bit slow and overall it was still very solid. I feel a bit more flavor could have been nice. But good stuff, just some better options in plaza though

First time trying this chain. Cute and modern interior. Got the taro milk. For $6.78, size was a bit small. Taro was a bit hard. Thought it would be a softer texture. But that’s just me. Drank half way to realize that there were actually some kind of balls that doesn’t taste like tapioca. I think there are probably 5 or 6 only in the drink which I rather have tapioca instead. At least there are more to chew on. Taste was ok. Nothing to wow about.
Terrible. I’m scarred from the grand opening experience today. I was #40 in line and took one hour before I could even place my order, waited another 30 minutes before I can even get my drink. Poorly organized. The cashier was taking bbt orders of # that were not in sequential order. When it was my turn , he changed his mind, and decided to take orders according to #. Staffs need to be more prepared for these kind of events. Nov. 9th - updating my review from 1 star to 5 stars. I revisited Hey Sugar, and the manager was genuinely sorry what with what happened on grand opening day. He explained to me he was locked out and couldn’t help out that day. Apology accepted.
Favourite boba place! I love the taro balls! Everything in the menu is spot on.
