Yami Go Sushi

The sushi here is fresh, delicious, very affordable, and the rolls are really big! We’ve been looking for a good sushi place after finding out most places cross contaminate between seafood and meat, and the food here did not disappoint! We tried their gyozas, which were fresh and homemade, the chicken wings super crunchy, dynamite roll, green dragon, tuna roll, and pressed salmon roll torched, and a shrimp torched on the house! Staff was really friendly and sweet. Definitely will be making this a new routine spot whenever I am in Scarborough.

Excellent, fresh, halal sushi at an affordable price. Great quality and portions. Friendly staff. Lots of items to choose from on the menu. There's also the option of getting bubble tea. They're more than a sushi place as they've got some other items too. We got the deal with the sushi pieces and the miso soup. The owner was so nice and gave us an extra so we didn't have to share. The bubble tea was also good. Service was pretty quick. I would come back if I'm in the area. Note: shop has limited seating space, with only 3 tables but takeout works well too.

A great hole in the wall! In a plaza with tons of delicious eats Aleppo, Top Gun, Yami joins the elite rank. The service here is fantastic, the menu is extensive, and the food is delicious. Pictured is the torched sushi, spicy sushi, and sashimi with California rolls. If you’re in Scarborough and you’re looking for good sushi, look no further. You’ve found a good one!

Best sushi ever! They tasted so fresh and delicious. This is going to be my go to spot for sushi in Toronto from now on. Owner was very nice and even gave us free glass noodles which I never knew would be so delicious! Def will be backFood: 5/5

First time trying this place. The sushi was delicious, everything was fresh and made to order. Their Kalbishort ribs was done medium and it was so tender and juicy. Above all this place is halal.please do your own verification. Excellent service. Definitely will come back. PS: limited seating. Not ideal for large parties.

I've been going to this adorable sushi spot for a while now, I've tried many sushi restaurants but Yami Go Sushi is absolutely the best, and superior to any other one. The restaurant is very charming and the decore is beautiful. Everything on the menu is soooo delicious and fresh. The owner Pearl is sooo friendly and sweet. She greets everyone with such warmth and kindness. I always love her recommendations and I'm going thru the menu each time I visit. Compliments to the amazing chef, a true master and also very welcoming. I literally crave their sushi . If your sushi lover like me, this spot is a must try. And if not this place will change your mind and you'll love sushi. My hubby was never big on sushi and now his in love too. The only mistake I made once was not getting enough. I got the maki party tray, the tempora and crab cones and the shrimp rolls on the side . As you can see we couldn't wait and had some on the way home. Plus I tried a delicious lemon papaya green tea drink with tapioca pearls that was so delicious and refreshing. I don't have a picture cause I finished it before getting to my car. We grabbed take out from Yami Go Sushi a few days ago and we tried an assortment of items including Edamame, Tako Yaki, Sashimi Party Tray, Special Rolls as well as a Yam Roll that was included for free. Overall, the food was very fresh and tasty even though some bites were definitely more memorable than others.

When I found out this place was 100% halal, couldn’t wait to check it out! We ordered: Bul-Go-Gi Maki Salmon Aburi Hako Hawaiian Maki All were amazing. I wish I took better pictures, but was too excited to eat it haha. The Hawaiian Maki is definitely spicy, so keep that in mind. But if you can handle spice, go for it. We dined in, but there’s very limited seating. So just a heads up. Also, the owner was so sweet! Can’t wait to come back :

This place is a gem. Since discovering this place this has become our go to sushi for a bite to eat and for ordering party platters. They have a huge variety maki rolls, sushi and hand rolls. They also have aburi torched pressed sushi and hot food options. Fish has always been fresh. The owners are super nice and the service is unmatched. They have 2 small tables inside for those moments when you just can't wait to dig in but don't want to eat in the car. Vegetarian options: For vegetarian options, the kids absolutely love the avocado maki rolls.
