Heritage Inn

FOLKS! Please keep in mind that the Heritage Inn is currently used for those unfortunate enough to be homeless and also for indigents and those who committed crimes with children. It is NOT a good or safe place for the regular traveler to stay in.

We were looking for a place to stay for the night. The receptionist was accommodating and gave us a room, according to her, was the last room left with two double beds at a price of $75 plus taxes. We found the room not worth for the price considering that we had stayed with other inns for less price at much better quality. The white sheets and pillow cases had been washed but had stains and holes from burning cigarette butts. The mattresses had stains like water marks. The room smelled very much of cigarettes. Since we had no more choice of a non-smoking room, we covered our faces the whole night. The water had much of iron which was evident on the tub and in the toilet bowl. We did not touch the fridge; it looked like it was broken because the door was not closed [had a gap]. The A/C was dirty and noisy. We left early the next morning without taking a shower.
