Heritage Dental Centre

My family has been seeing Kim Tan for years now, and have been so happy with her. She is an amazing dentist. Never thought I would be writing a negative review like this, but here goes.. My husband was made to feel unwanted in their office today. Told that he needs to get his teeth fixed, that they are tired of his emergency visits and needs to see a denture specialist. I thought that dentists were there to help you with your teeth, whether it be an emergency or not. Not turn you away when they are needed most. And to boot, the receptionist Shelby was the one to inform my husband of this. She made him feel, well, he was hurt and angry. I can't blame him. They are taking it upon themselves to decide what we can and cannot afford at this time. And when I called and spoke with Shelby after the fact, I will admit that I was angry, probably should have waited a few moments.. but she defended her actions and told me that she would have Kim call me back to discuss within the next 2 minutes.. 15 minutes ago, and still waiting. To be fair, Kim is very busy.. But, I would highly recommend that you seek services elsewhere, unless your teeth are in great shape. FYI, Heritage Dental does NOT want to deal with your emergencies.

Love my dentist. Top notch. The receptionists seem to have improved based (noting the comment below) as I have had zero issues with them. Dr. Wong is great with kids and adults alike!

Dentists are awesome, best dental work available. If you have a fear of dentists, I would recommend the dentists in this office. They are professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. The front line on the other hand really need a lesson in compassion and customer service. The receptionists are self appointed elitists with a high school mentality toward the clients. Absolutely no concept of customer service treating individuals with a clique attitude that one expects from adolescents. They are rude and inconsiderate. If you can get past them, then the visit is worth it.
