HELPING HANDS MOVERS

"Helping Hands Movers" really ? Going with their name, I called them for a moving job they cut me by telling me they don't do small jobs. Should be "HELPING HAND ONLY BIG MOVES"

Nope. Don't do it. Just go find another mover. These guys overcharged us significantly. Our move from our old location to our new location was literally 5 minutes away. Five minutes. The movers took 45 minutes to get back from the new location to the old one. And we got charged for it. They tried to say it was traffic. Seriously? Oh...and the movers dawdled. Big time. But wait, there's more! They wandered our 1.7 acre property and picked fruit from the trees - had themselves a real smorgasbord there, all on our dollar. They ate plums, apples, blackberries. They took bites out of the apples and then threw mostly uneaten fruit on the ground. Then, they rummaged through our pile of stuff that was going to the dump to scavenge for things. What should have been an 8 hour move turned into 13 hours and I had to chase the moving guys down and tell them to hustle it because it was taking way too long (at this point, I was so peeved because I saw them picking blackberries at the bushes in the back instead of moving things). I have tried repeatedly to seek resolution with this company but after our initial conversation, they refuse to call me back. They call screen every call. They have two addresses listed - one on Yelp and another on their website. I will be doing everything I can, as a consumer, to let people know there must be better companies out there. Save your time with researching this one - you won't get the service you deserve.

It is so bad! Very bad! I made a reservation a week ago to move some furniture, but they do not show up! Never never use them again!
