Amazing home style Authentic Korean food in town! Good flavor good service, just like being a guest in local Korean family, big portion size, best for sharing with friends! Definitely will come back!
Excellent breakfasts and awesome coffee. Glad we stopped in!
If you want peace and quiet and are looking to have a private conversation in a tucked away corner in a coffee shop this is the place! Their muffins are good and there is a very good selection of teas. I don't come here very often but it is my #1 choice for a more intimate get together/gab session with friend. The other places are too crowded and noisy!
Great food and service. Also a Korean dinner menu. All day breakfast, their breakfast wrap and Reuben are fantastic! I'm not as big on their coffee, but it's our favourite spot to grab coffee and get work done because of the table space and it's not usually noisy or busy.
Am so impressed with freshness of the food and the great taste experience. I was going to grab something quick at McDonalds however there was a huge drive through wait. We decided to give Haz Beans a try. We will remain faithful customers going forward and bring many friends.
This coffee is fantastic, and I so appreciated that they deliver it periodically to the palliative care wing at Nanaimo General Hospital. I cannot tell you how much our family appreciated having a “real” cup of coffee during our family member’s stay on that unit. Thank you so very much for thinking of those families, and I hope to be in one day to enjoy a cup in person.
Great breakfast. Good value. Personalized service. This cafe makes all their food “home style.” Three of us ordered breakfast with coffee/tea for under $30 including taxes and tip! Only complaint: This place needs more employees. We waited 50-minutes for our bacon and eggs to come out. Don’t go here if you’re in a rush. Otherwise, excellent little local spot.
One of my favorite local coffee shops. It is often quiet and not very busy but the staff is consistently friendly and inviting. I like to come here and work on things on my laptop as no one disturbs me and their products are excellent and reasonably priced. Worth a shot for sure.
This is a very busy little cafe, it appears especially popular with seniors. The owner often does everything on her own so there's often a bit of a wait for your order. I have not ordered a meal here but the pastries are good and the coffee is excellent.
The best Korean food outside of South Korea disguised as a coffee shop the coffee is pretty great too. Service can be slow but it's well worth the wait, especially because the portions are so generous.
