A coffee shop located inside an old train station. Very welcoming space, with baked goods and seasonal features. We tried their cortado and lavender taro dream milk a seasonal feature. They are both very yummy.
We had an amazing breakfast here today! The avocado toast and the ricotta and jam toast were both incredible. Muffins were delicious. The coffee, drip and cappuccino, were both fantastic as well. It was such a great experience and the ladies working there were absolutely lovely. We only had a half a day here in Nanaimo and I’m very glad we chose to come here! Well worth it. Thank you so much!
Nice little coffee shop, clean and decent amount of seating inside and outside. They even have wild rabbits in the backyard that visit. Coffee was decent but not anything to brag about.
The place had a great atmosphere located at a quiet neighbourhood. Africano Americano with steamed milk was tasty and lemon poppyseeds muffin wasn’t just an ordinary muffin. When I went there at around 930am on Saturday morning, there were open tables. But, an hr later, the shop started to get busy and had no more table inside!!
Cute coffee shop located in an old train station, entrance is located out back but there's plenty of signage indicating this. Both the iced mocha and latte were well made. And the cookie was delish. All their baked goods are vegan and gluten free, and they have milk alternatives available for drinks. Plenty of seating outdoors around the shop itself and indoor spaces available too. Staff were efficient and friendly.
I ordered a Flat White & Telus happened to be providing a free drink to anyone who wanted to redeem the offer for the day. The workers were very kind & hard working. The Flat White taste & presentation was incredible & the price was right
We went to the White Rabbit for lunch while exploring Nanaimo’s downtown. Staff was friendly and we were served in a reasonable amount of time. The old railroad station locale has the potential to be charming but was quite plain. We ordered the pesto sandwich with ham and avocado. The bread was slightly dry and the sandwich was small for the price. The latte was good. We will keep looking for a favourite Nanaimo coffee shop.
Popular place. Every seat was taken on a Friday early afternoon. The nanaimo bar was good and had a nice, rich, not-too-sweet chocolate layer on top. We did not enjoy the vegan pistachio cookie as it had that generic vegan cardboard flavor to us. Our new standard for vegan cookies is the Trader Joe's chocolate chip walnut cookie; it's spectacular to vegans and non-vegans alike. And we're more inclined towards ethical animal use anyway and pay very high prices for local free range & ethical real dairy. It's a viable option, just sayin. Vegetarian options: I didnt see vegetarian options. Only vegan.
Delicious food! I had an amazing turkey cranberry chutney sandwich, wonderful muffin and lovely herbal tea. Such a friendly space with quality food and drink, highly recommended!
Iced Matcha latte with vanilla and oat milk is to die for. The staff take the quality of their coffee seriously and it shows in the final product. Also love the rotating local artist exhibits.
