Come see why families say the Hayward KOA is one of the best campgrounds they've ever been to. A 300-foot waterslide, large heated pool, a Jumping Pillow, fun-bikes, mini golf and two playgrounds are amenities young campers favor. Movies, ice cream socials, wagon rides and a DJ on Saturdays keep kids (and others!) entertained. Don't miss special events like Watermelon Olympics, nighttime treasure hunts and tie-dyeing T-shirts. The pavilion and Camping Kitchen make this an ideal spot for parties and groups. One of the best ways to see Wisconsin's Northwoods is by canoeing or tubing along the pristine Namekagon River, part of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. The Hayward KOA staff will even drive you to your starting point and pick you up at the end of your ride. Hayward KOA is close to golf courses, hiking, ATV and mountain-biking trails and lakes full of muskie.

I stayed in a tent site over the middle of July. They had so many things to do me and the family had a LOT of fun! Some things cost extra but that makes sense, if it costs them it should cost us a little bit too. I will say that for being a KOA there is SO much to do. The water slide was a lot of fun, lots of free activities over the weekends. The wagon rides with the "Swamp Monster" was one of my families favorites. Free movie on a huge blow up screen was my favorite, all family movies that everyone can love. The themed weekends are always fun, we have been to many, BUT Chocolate weekend is our families favorite... How can you resist a 50 ft Chocolate pudding slip 'n' slide?!? The staff was very friendly at the front office and the maintenance people were very helpful when we had a flat tire on our bikes. Over all we had an amazing time, lots to do with kids and families together. The option of tubing down the river to water slide and mini golf, I would have not expected this campground to be a KOA because of the amount of activities and amenities We will for sure be back!

Made reservations a month in advance.....All the website said was site is set up for 6 people not max tent limit.Second night there we are forced to pay MORE money because we had three tents so we had to get another site.Not any where is this rule stated.I tried to get a comp because this was not in our plans,we got a all day bounce worth 3.75 each for my children.It was clean and fun but they are definitely in it for the money. Pay for water slide pay for bounce pad Not sure if we will return

The staff here is exceptional! The park is very clean and we'll maintained. The amenities are awesome! Heated swimming pool, great play area, ice cream/pizza/snack cafe. Love the waterslide too!!

So much to do!! Swimming, jump bubble, camping, playground, cabins, water slides, and much more. It's a great place to bring your family!!
