Camp Namekagon

Highly impressed! We came in at 7:15pm after driving for five hours (They close the lodge at 6) but they opened for us anyway... it was pouring down rain, and we were looking for a tent site (myself and my two young children)... the woman, Renee, felt bad for us and gave us a great deal on a sleeping cabin instead. The cabin is adorable and clean. Perfect for us. The campground is quiet (but it was a Wednesday). It is very clean and the bathroom facilities are more than decent. I'm only sad we're not staying more than one night. Great experience... we will be back!

We LOVE Camp Namekagon! In fact, when I call to make a reservation, they call me by name--warmly, like they mean it. I had to cancel once, and they were more than understanding. They even lent me a kitchen tool one night! If we get there and don't feel like cooking, we can count on a great meal in the clean, well-organized bar. The bathrooms are clean, the showers are clean and they have warm water, and the sites are easy to get into. I can't wait until it warms up enough to rent tubes and kayaks!

Wonderful staff. Tubing shuttle available. Nice bar, beautiful scenery. A+ Quiet after 10:30, mostly.

Beautiful campground, however their customer service is non existant. They are lacking any tact at all and are very rude. Also, they take their 10:30 curfew on noise very seriously... and by that I mean they start enforcing it at 9. No music, no talking above a normal level. Nothing. Rather shocking for a campground. We wont be going back.

Very Nice quiet campground! We get a group together each year for a weekend at Camp Namekagon. Well kept campground with super clean bathrooms and showers. Nice bar area. Canoe trips are awesome on the Namekagon!! Beautiful river. Last weekend was a super busy with canoe rentals. They actually did not have enough canoes for everyone so, their staff went out of their way to round up enough canoes for our large group. They rented from another campground for us. Great people!!! Another plus is that they are less than 15 minutes from Hayward. Great area.
