The cafe is nice. Decorations underline the cozy, at home atmosphere and are 80s inspired. Upon my visit, the cafe was rather busy. So there were long waiting times for coffee and breakfast. Additionally, staff was professional, but not that friendly, probably due to the stress. The coffee was delicious, however the food was just okay. Pancakes especially were dry.
A cute little place that I would definitely recommend for breakfast/brunch. We had The Crack Egg, American Classic pancakes and The Spicy ginger Lemonade. The vibe of the place is also very chill. They have cards and different board games that you can use while eating there. Definitely recommend!
Based on a recommendation of a fellow student, I decided to give this place a try! It exceeded all of my expectations : First of all, the coffee is really, really good. As a coffee lover, I have to say their espresso was one of the better ones I've had! However, this was just the beginning of something even better. Whoever made the pancakes is an absolute artist, the pancakes were soft, fruity, and generally to die for The ingredients complemented each other really well, and it was perfect for the mood I was in! However, the general atmosphere and the people that work here might be the best thing about the restaurant. The place feels really inclusive and welcoming, and the staff make the place feel really vibrant. The people were really kind, and great at what they do! It's safe to say that the food and the people at Haley's comet truly made my day, and I'll 100% be returning soon :
One of the best places to have brunch in town. The filter coffee is glorious and their signature brioche sandwich “The Cracked Egg” is just what you need to start your Saturday morning. The pancakes and the cakes are also delicious! Highly recommended. I also liked the relaxed atmosphere. The service is great, the staff is very friendly! Only point to improve is the ventilation.
Lovely setting, and very friendly service! Portions were not big for the price tough. Delicious egg nog croissant French toast, crispy fried chicken, but waffle was dry and crunchy. We waited ~30min for the food despite the restaurant being quite empty at the time.
As most people say, the decor is really cozy with a vintage look. The place is rather small, but we were lucky to get a table right away. The staff is nice, and food is even better! The egg sandwich was marvelous, while the pancakes according to my gf were also pretty good. The french toast, or their interpretation of it was also good. Smoothies and coffee also recommended. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
I came to Den Haag for a few days and this was by far the best food I had. The atmosphere in the Breakfastclub is wonderful and the service was just so welcoming. Everything about this café made me feel cozy and warm on the inside. I can't wait to visit again when im in Den Haag.
Very modern, fancy breakfast place in a nice area. Prices are fine for the quality of food you get and be in accordance with the average in the Netherlands I guess. The Crack Egg Bun was really delicious- the egg was very soft and tasty and the spicy mayo was a nice touch. Definitely would recommend, especially after a night out! I had the Breakfast Bowl Berries and coconut, which was vegan und pretty yummy with the cinnamon, the nicecream and the granola it already tasted like a winter bowl, but was really good. Also the Lemonade was really refreshing and tasty. I would go there again if I am nearby sometime! 5/5
I've been here a few times and I really feel at home every time I visit. The staff are super friendly! Amazing brunch food and tasty coffee.
First visit here and we enjoyed it. Very nice place to eat. Delicious good food for a fair price and a friendly staff. I like the 80’s vibe they have, very cool!
