Super nice service...amazing food for an amazing price...the original chef is either working the front or cooking in the back so you know it's good food. Highly recommend

We've been here a few times and the Havana Café never disappoints. Lunch and dinner options are amazing. The food is simple, comforting and incredibly flavourful.

This small, cute, neighbourhood restaurant is a real gem that residents of Ottawa from beyond Ottawa South should discover. Actually the food I had there yesterday may be the best food I had in Ottawa in a while especially given the very reasonable price. This was also the opinion of my young adult son who has been working in recent years in the kitchens of high end restaurants in Ottawa and Montreal. The food, Cuban, is authentic, fresh, tasty, spicy but not overly, with balanced flavours and a nice presentation. The owner who is also the chef came to chat with us and was very friendly. I highly recommend it.
