Tuesday October 18 @ aprox 5:15 pm Stood in line for 25 minutes to place takeout order for Swiss Chalet. Spent $53.53 for my food. Girl on front counter seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. Chicken was very dry and over cooked. Very disappointed in new size container for chalet sauce. There was only one oz of sauce. Container is shallow plus about one cm from the top of container. One girl wearing socks and sandals and near the fry area. Accident looking to happen both with slip and fall and hot fry oil. I don’t think I will be back at this location. Ownership has gone down hill in last few years.
First time ordered from Harveys Carleton place location. We got your order fairly quickly which is a plus, we got a basic burgers deal and they are tasty. However, our Fries and onion rings were half full from the box. That being said, it's hard to determine if this is a normal or not because we don’t order from Harveys often. Overall, its a good option for a quick burger fix, and it's always great to find a fast-food restaurant that's better than McDonald's.
Beware to anyone on Keto or Carnivore diets, you are not welcome unless your willing to compromise your health. On March 12 2023 I was told by a staff member that they will not sell me hamburger patties without buns. Due to health issues I do not eat bread or sugar anymore, which is why I only order the patties. If you have health issues with bread and sugardiabetes you will need to drive out of Carleton Place to find another Harvey's. Or try your lucky at McDonald's across the street. Dietary restrictions: As a diabetic with other autoimmunity issues I cannot eat any bread or sugar. Therefore I only order beef patties when going to any restaurants or fast food restaurants without any problems until today that is.
Nice place for a quick snack or even more. Kids love it, and even the grown ups. We had great time in Harvey's Carleton place and we enjoyed staying there for a while after we're done eating. Harvey's is a real Canadian quality oriented far food company. Highly recommended.
The quality has gone downhill. I have yet to get fresh onion rings. They always come like they have been under a heat la.p for hours?? Sorry but I mustbe honest.
So they forgot my redbull twice now upon ordering via the app and once in drive threw but they are friendly and the food is always great, when you ask for extra sauce and stuff you do indeed get it!Food: 5/5
I was just there and ordered the cheese mushroom melt but somehow the managed not to put the mushrooms on. Why would I spend 18$ on a burger without mushrooms on it. Kinda ridiculous
Disappointed. Food quality has gone downhill. I have yet to get onion rings that have not been under a heat lamp for hours.
Very disappointing. Order the large poutine and when we recieved it the bowl was half full. I pointed out that in the picture the bowl overflowing with poutine and this one was filled half as much. The staff could hardly care less and didn't help any further.
The bathrooms are great. Automatic and really clean. The staff is very friendly, and the service is excellent. They offered to bring me my order and recorded my chosen toppings to add in when the burger was ready. The place is clean too. Also, air conditioned. I highly recommend if you're passing by and a little stressed and hungry.
