Harvest Barn of Niagara

The best butter tart I have ever had. I do agree that the store is not Harvest Barn but it doesnt purport to be and I have to give a new owner a chance. A smaller amount of things done well may get people coming back who have been turned off by the change. I did love the old store but the amount of money required for HB stock may have been unmanageable for any owner let alone a new one since the pandemic changed our buying/travel habits. I do agree that bringing old salad bar back at a reasonable price could just keep people coming in and buying other things at same time. They need to get the traffic back. I will keep trying new things whenever I get the chance and tell them when it's good or needs improvement. But would come more often for sure if I knew a good fresh salad bar with decent variety was there.

The best Apple pie, tarts, and pecan pie in Ontario. When i always come to Niagara, this is one of my must stop in the area. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Their staff is super friendly, helpful and polite. Fully recommended

Huge improvement in quality from the previous Harvest Barn! The bakery is fantastic, the bread, croissants, the selection is an absolute step up from Harvest Barn. Alitura team can cook and they know what quality ingredients means. You can taste it!

It’s too bad this place changed, they really ruined a good thing! Harvest barn used to have the best salad bar and snacks. I went out of my way to stop here weekly, but the whole vibe is different as well as product assortment. Feels stuffy and the food wasn’t fresh the pickles and pasta salads were inedible and expensive and won’t be going back.

If I could I wouldn’t even give a star. Pies went from yummy to bland. The pastries are dry. Salad bar is way to expensive for pre made summer fresh salads. Unfortunately it’s to bad. I had high hopes and really loved the owners vision for the previous Harvest barn but honestly they have not lived up to their dream. The parking lot use to be packed and now it sits empty. If that doesn’t say something then I don’t know what does.

I miss the former Harvest Barn ownership. The current experiences I’ve had with this new ownership has left me at a loss. There is almost non-existent product and what there is seems poorly provided. The reason offered by staff regarding the sparse presentation is items are coming soon or they’re looking for a new supplier. How does one open a store without a fully competent and adequate supply chain. Just not worth stopping there any longer. Sorry but your business concept and practice are a mystery to me.

Wow, went out of my way to stop here, expecting Harvest Barn. What a sad excuse of a replacement. Absolutely barren selection. Not even a dozen pies and all the same 3 flavours. Absolute waste of my time and gas; Sobeys or Zehrs have better selection how sad is that?. Thanks for ruining one of the best fresh produce and bakeries in the region guys.

Alitura is an excellent store which makes all of their own foods. Great flavours and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back.

Nice place to buy locally grown produce. Their peach pie is awesome. My kids loved it. We will go back & try their blueberry pie this time.

Stop here every time we visit this this area. The best thing about it is they sell local grown fruits and veggies when possible. They offer a good meat and deli assortment as well . Also there is a small picnic area outside . love this place
