My husband and I recently chose Hart's for our wedding reception dinner for 12 people and we were not disappointed. The service from start to finish was immaculate. The staff being incredibly polite and professional. The food was absolutely wonderful - 10/10 - hats off to the Chefs! A special thank you to Melissa for helping me plan the dinner. It was seamless, and I can't thank you enough. Can't wait to come back for the perfect atmosphere, perfect food and perfect service.
The staff here are amazing! Some of the best service I have experienced in a hotel. So polite, friendly and helpful even with the smallest of things. My room was lovely, very large with a bath and great complimentary items in the room. Room service was great too! Would love to come again.Rooms: 5/5
Like many, we’ve spent a bit of time at Harts over the years from romantic overnight stays in the garden rooms to business drinks & dinner. To be fair to Harts and my most recent stay it was on face value more than good. I think I crave back to the heydays of really super exclusive places & alas the world isn’t like that now, certainly not Notts so it’s unfair to compare of what I think luxury is in my head to what Harts is. The staff are attentive & the food is pretty good. It’s always a shame to see the closed former restaurant building & it does give the bar area a bit of a confused identity. We stayed as always in one of the garden rooms & it was nice. Not opulent but probably the best you’ll get in Nottingham. I think the rooms are actually pretty good value for money to be fair. On my most recent experience I was pretty grumpy. So to Amy on reception I appreciate you. My issue is I I appreciate this is first world problems the car park is woeful. It’s like a staff/maintenance car park. I had to park next to a work truck and something else, the spaces are very tight. With respect I highly doubt some of the guests there in the night particular cared about their cars and I could see my car getting hit. In fact there was a Tesla parked so close to the car next to it the car had been damaged. I’m not sure what the answer is to this nor whether it’s anything to do with Harts but for those with super nice cars it’s probably worth being driven. I’ll consider that in future. I was told car parking was free but was subsequently charged 9.95. Not a big deal but the car park is so bad. Overall it’s still a nice place and it’s in one of the nicer parts of Nottingham. You get a decent amount of reasonable quality for the money I’d say. Thank you
Very nice relaxing stay, rooms high standard and clean and quiet. My only complaint is that it was incredibly hot in the room and the windows only opened a fraction. It's also a great location being only a few minutes walk from city centre bars and restaurants.Hotel highlightsLuxury, Quiet
Only had dinner in the restaurant with colleagues, nice enough but unremarkable. Soup was bland and too much olive oil. I expected more of that. Main dish was beef with carrots and wine saus. Good dish, meat was lovely and tender. Dessert was Eton Mess with Lemon Curd, but the dish was too deconstructed for me. It lacked the satisfying freshness of Eton Mess, despite having most of the individual ingredients. Glass of Rioja was nice, paired well with the main, but came in at 9 pounds for a glass. Had a Moscow Mule too, which wasn't good. Not sure what they did to it, but it really didn't hit the mark. Overall, I enjoyed most of it, but wouldn't recommend it
Can't praise Hart's highly enough! Staff soooo friendly, efficient and discrete. Accommodation clean and well equipped, the bed was soooooo comfy. Housekeeping staff second to none. Nearby activities: 5 minutes to City Centre. A good range of bars & eateries. Cat cafe. Walkability: 5 minutes walk to City Centre. Food & drinks: Although limited which is not a bad thing excellent menu and a good choice of wines. Noteworthy details: All the staff.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely meal. The restaurant is very nice and cosy. Quite small though. Food was delicious! Beef melts in your mouth. I had a 3 course gluten free meal - Atlantic prawns, pheasant and creme brulee for dessert. Walkability: Close to the city centre Food & drinks: Lovely food
Lunch With friends. Where do you take friends visiting Nottingham and want somewhere a bit special for lunch? Hart's, of course. Having not been here for a while, it was the ideal opportunity to see what's cooking. We ordered the following Starter's Trio of salt-baked celeriac Beetroot cured Salmon Mains Harts wild mushroom pasta Beer battered Hake Roast pheasant Desserts Crème Brulee Hambleton bakery tart Finished off with liquor coffee. The food was all cooked fresh to order and very good as expected. Staff were attentive and very welcoming. We all thoroughly enjoyed our delightful visit. Food & drinks: Dined in their restaurant
Had a meal with my family to celebrate my birthday and have to say it was the best meal we have had in a long time. I had the Red Hill Farm pate for starter followed by the Lamb and then finished off with Creme Brulee. The greens were cooked to perfection and all the dishes had nice touches with attention to detail. I big thankyou goes to the staff who also made our experience enjoyable as they were attentive with perfect timing without being over the top. Thanks again to all involved and keep up the good work, well done.
Great hotel - most comfortable hotel bed ever.. The food is mixed. Some is great, some not up to scratch.Rooms: 5/5
