Harley's Pub and Perk

Used to have the best wings, check the picture on how small they are. Don’t waste your time

Canadian burger was great.nFries were good but reminded me of frozen crinkle fries heated up.nWith such a home made burger I would have liked a more home made French fry.nAll in all 4 meals were good and we will be back.

I was told that Harley’s had great wings; that others had gone into Harleys for wings and beer & loved it. We went in at 12:30 pm, ordered & ate. After our burgers and drinks arrived, we never saw our waitress again. At 2 pm, we went to the bar to ask for our bill.nThe food was ok but not the service. I don’t think we’ll go there again.nnTheir plant wall was lovely though.

When you are driving through small towns on a Thanksgiving Day you are bound to find it difficult to get an eating place open. Hungry as we were our return trip from Torbermory to our home just did not throw up one. We were okay with ANY eating place.nnAnd as we drove on the main street of this little wonderful town of Mildmay saw the OPEN sign on this pub. The main door did not inspire us at all. you will see the image below But we were hungry and we wanted to eat. So we entered the place.nnThe inside of the place was a complete difference. It did look old and had a lot of artifacts that were very dated. We were told the building the pub stood on was built in the 1800s and the SAME FAMILY owned the pub for over 100 years !!!! Wow...... no wonder the place had such a character about it. Everything inside was very good and belied the impression made by the door.nnThe server we got was very friendly. We wanted some local beer which she suggested off the tap and these were amazing. The food was amazing. Well prepared, well presented and very tasty. The overall ambiance was phenomenalnnIf you ever want a great watering hole in a charming small town, with a lot of character and one that whets your appetite, Harley's is SURELY the place to go.nnIf ever I pass through Mildmay again, a pit stop at Harley's will be a done thing.

A great spot for the whole family. They have hands down the best Caesar cocktail around with or without alcohol and the dreamwich is a MUST TRY!
