Old Joe's Cabin is casual dining restaurant in Walkerton.

Named after Joseph Walker, the founder of Walkerton who was often known as "Old Joe". Also, inspired by Joseph Lang of Chepstow.

Can accommodate groups up to 30 people. 15% service charge on groups of 15 people or more. Special menus available on request.

My family and I went for lunch and we really enjoyed the service and atmosphere. The food was very fresh. I ordered the chicken, cranberry and Swiss sandwich. It and all the food ordered was amazing. The prices are in line with what you would pay at a chain restaurant but the quality was far superior. I would highly recommend Old Joe's Cabin.

Love this place!!! I come back time and again for fantastic service, great coffee, and the best sweet potato fries IN THE FREAKING WORLD!

Oh my gosh the food here is amazing! Local owners and great staff. Huge piles of fries with my Ruben sandwich. Would go again!

After speaking with the owner and having some of the situation explained I have revised my review. Some of the issues had been corrected already and action taken on the otthers. I reserve judgement until I have tried them again. VERY DISAPPOINTED with our visit. Despite having made a reservation for a party of 12 , service was unacceptably slow. It was over half an hour before our orders were taken and then more than an hour until we were served. It was 1 1/2 hours until the person who was seated first and ordered first finally served got her meal! Given that we had 4 hungry children with us, it was not a pleasant wait. Other tables seated after us, had their orders taken promptly and were served first. Most of our meals were good but several were not. There was another server working the much smaller and half full bar side who NEVER came over to the restaurant side to help. She didn't seem busy and was on seen on her phone several times. Then they had the audacity to automatically add15% tip to the bill.
