Harbourside Artisan Kitchen

Locally owned and operated by a wonderful Scottish-Canadian couple in Bronte, my Wife and I recently discovered this hidden gem steps away from Bronte Harbour. If you come for weekend brunch you are going to have some difficult choices to make. Do you get the 'Canadian Eh' benedict with peameal bacon served over 2 fresh biscuits made in house, the southern style chicken and waffles with maple syrup on the side, the cornbeef hash, or the chicken popover served with country style gravy and 2 eggs on top? You cannot go wrong with any of these choices so you will probably want to come back regularly to try everything on the menu. Warning: The country style gravy is so good that you just might want to drink it.

It must have been quite a journey for Frank, all the way from Firth to Oakville, but along the way he has mastered cusine from Creole to Canadian. We had the "jambalaya" and it was chockful of seafood, pork, & chicken. His lovely wife Wilma, was attentive without being intrusive. We had a great dining experience there - tasty food in decent quantity, good service and at a reasonable price

Casual friendly atmosphere. Lovely staff and proprietor. The halibut was fresh and delightful.

Good experience all round, food was great and the service excellent. Bronte, has an excellent choice of restaurants and this is one of them!
