Harbour House Waterfront Eatery

I’ve been here many times and I am finally writing a review. On Wednesday, we dropped in for a late lunch or early dinner. We were happy to see that they were offering a “2 for 1” special on drinks and apps. Since our favourite way to eat is sharing a bunch of different apps, we made out like bandits, LOL!! Our server, Adriana was attentive and really pleasant, but not overly intrusive which sometimes isn’t appreciated. We stayed for hours, eating and drinking. Another Wednesday, we might participate in the weekly trivia challenge too. It looked like fun.

Everything was good. Not great. But good. After over an hour wait for our food. I had to ask a different server about what was taking so long. Maybe 5 min later, it all came out without any explanation for the delay. Someone at our table had the stuffed chicken. It was rather dried out. 2 people had mixed veggies. They were almost raw and hard to bite through do to their large chunky size. All the other food was wonderful. 3 different drinks had to be sent back, because they were not made correctly. I'm not sure if the bar tender was new or something. But he definitely didn't know how to properly make cocktails. Our waitress was very nice. But again I think she was new. She definitely did not know the menue. 6 or 7 questions were asked during ordering. And she couldn't answer a single one of them. We were a party of 6. We were sat at a table in the middle of the room. Very thing was well kept and had beautiful views.

Nice place on the water. I sat at the bar alone so I had decent service but mostly younger servers who just don’t want to go beyond mediocre. Although the salmon dinner was fairly basic it was very good, like something you would make at home. It came out hot and nice presentation.nThe lobster bisque and summer salad is pretty good too.

First time at Harbour House Windsor, it was an excellent experience starting with the food, the scenery, the ambience and the service. Even the server was perfect giving us a rundown on what food to order as first timers. The place is clean to boot. Windsor does offer great resto such as Harbour place. I will surely come back here.

Enjoyed a fantastic seafood restaurant by the water! The vibrant atmosphere and delicious soup made it a memorable experience. Planning to visit again soon.
