I have eaten here many times before and would have given 5 stars. Its always been perfect till today. I got the curry beef and bit into a hard sharp bone which luckily I did not swallow. Hurt my tooth though. Amazing taste. Good people.

I drive by this place everyday. Today I decided to go in . First off amazing staff , had a conversation with the owners son , really good guy , very knowledgeable and super nice . The quality of the meat is exceptional, about to try the burgers but can already tell from the look and smell that they are going to be insanely good. Will definitely be back. Thank you

This was a tough one.nnAs a butcher, the quality, service and presentation is very good. Prices reflect the quality, and volumes I think. 4.5 stars.nnAs a retail store, the selection of goods is quite good and prices look fair. The herbs and spices are somewhat one dimensional narrow range of brands, and jamaican. Good selection of frozen pies and patties. 4 stars.nnAs a produce store, fairly good selection. I was impressed to see pimento and habanero/scotch bonnet peppers available. Some veg produce are not trimmed properly so some rot can be found. 3 starsnnAs a food/lunch counter, I ordered a beef roti and jerk chicken with rice and peas. The meat was very good quality. Makes good sense.nnHowever, the roti was ... extremely disappointing. The paratha may have been from frozen shells: hard and thin. Borderline tortilla. The curry filling was not representative of a west indian roti. At all. -1 starsnnThe jerk chicken ... massive disappointment. Rage inducing. The chicken was optimal quality and cooked to perfection. However, there is minimal to no jerk seasoning. Not representative of the dish in the least. 'Rice and peas' was white rice with black eyed peas. Flavorless. Uninspired. International incident worthy. High commission level offensive. -5 stars.nnI will be happy to visit again for everything but the food.nnI'll also be happy to offer to drop off donate as a public service and for their R&D a sample of a proper roti with proper west indian curry powder as well as a jerk chicken with rice and peas red kidney beans, long grain rice, coconut milk, THYME!!.

Seriously! Calling all Barrie residents!! What are you waiting for? Truly the best butcher in town! Properly cut steaks, fresh tender never frozen chicken, awesome sausages, and Don't get me going about the bacon, wow! This is what we need! Not big conglomerates. This is family run business with amazing staff! Darren is always behind the counter with a big smile. Thank you Happy Mango.

Fantastic people, super friendly, best fresh meat in Barrie. But you need to enjoy the Prime cuts that few offer.
