Happy Fish House

Honestly just an ok restaurantthe interior looks old and greasy, the portion for food was big, verges are super fresh. But the classic Sauerkraut fish taste plain, first bite was really weird. Was too sour so covered other flavour. The churros were so nice, especially the one with yoghurt, highly recommended

Decent food and dining atmosphere. The Roasted Peking Duck was flavourful and the duck skin was crispy; however, the cut of the meat was quite thick and uneven which can be a letdown when putting the meat within the pancakes. The Spicy Fish With Sauerkraut was excellent as the fish meat was soaked with flavours from the soup base and the sauerkraut was delightful. Overall, the food experience was good!

Highly recommended!!! Everything was so amazing, and I can promise this is a really authentic Chinese cuisine. Didn't try Peking duck last time I went, I will definitely come back!!

Sooooo yummy! Got the Sauerkraut fish without the spice and it was a lot better when my mouth and other parts was not on fire. The peking duck was good too. Service was average.

My fav restaurant so far for sauerkraut fish. Large size, lots of ingredients other restaurants make you pay for add ons, consistent each time I go. Deep fried donut was definitely yummmm. Price is pretty standard for this type of restaurant.

I honestly don’t know why there are so many 1 star reviews. I liked this place! Their serving speed excels! They use live fish, not frozen fillet in their and the service was not as bad as in some of the comments.

Summary: - dining environment is great, very nice cute decor - food price is above average, porportion is reasonable. Quality is ok. - absolutely terrible service and dining experience, waiters just give zero care. --------- Note: my gf and I went to the restaurant on a raining Sunday afternoon 3pm, there were only 3 tables of customers, 1 manager and 2 staff on the floor 1. Entrance After entering the restaurant, we noticed there was no receptionist, so I asked the bar tender if the restaurant was opened or not. The staff looked at me, looked down and left us hanging there without saying a word. Three minutes later, the manager finally there, signed us in and got us a seat 2. Placing order After we finished marking on the menu, I've raised my hand and signal a waiter that we are ready. He came, grab the sheet, and left without saying anything or confirming the order. And without a surprise, when he return with the order note, he missed dishes. So I had to raised my hand again, and the waiter came over, frowned, asked : "what?" and we ask ask gently they he may has missed, the waiter responded: "oh". And just walked away to place the order. 3. Asking for napkin I raised my hand, one staff saw me and walked away, so I waited. When the second staff is closed to us, I raised my hand again, he looked at me, and just walked away. I stood up and walked close to him, and before I open my mouth, the waiter said impatiently :" just wait" And no one came to assist us until the manager was on the floor again.

Came here for the Peiking duck but left disappointed. Dishes are pricey and the portion is small. Duck is not that good either, no flavour. Service is bare minimum.

We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday. Food was good but they came out so fast it makes you wonder if it was just reheated. I really enjoyed the roast duck though. You get a good juicy portion of meat where as other roast ducks at other restaurants don't always have much meat. What really threw me off, and the reason for 3 stars, was when the server said that our tip wasn't acceptable to their standards and said it needed to be higher. Off-putting and entitled behavior. Won't be recommending any of my friends to come here. If she had asked nicer I probably would have given more than 20%.

I love coming here for their spicy sauerkraut fish. The fish here is very good. Service has gotten better over the years.
