Hans' Bakery

2024-08-31 - stopped in for some treats - service was friendly and helpful - donuts were ok - wouldn't go out of the way to go here, but if I was in the area I'd probably stop in.

I used to love this bakery, but after returning for the first time since their closure, I was incredibly disappointed. The selection was sparse—just a couple of donuts with no prices displayed—and they no longer carry my favorite bee hives or chicken sandwiches. To top it off, they ask for a tip when you buy just a couple of donuts. The quality and experience have gone downhill, and I won’t be coming back. Very dissatisfied.

So sad to see it with no customers and staff that look like they are going to yell at you. No beehives a Hans tradition as far as I'm concerned. in the past you had to wait for your order, it smelled fresh and inviting. no sales or even deals on dozen donuts. I intended to spend a lot but decided not to based on these issues and factors.

We’ve been taking our kids here for their birthdays for over 10 years. I think we’re done doing that now. Service and quality has plummeted. They frequently don’t have our orders prepared and their selection has declined significantly. I was told they have a new owner and make all the donuts off site now. It would seem the new owner is going to tank this store

Donuts/rolls were just fine. They were dry and most likely a day old. The customer service was fine, neutral, not friendly or unfriendly. I would say everything was fine, nothing special. I'd rather patronize a bakery with fresh products.
