Hampton Inn Janesville

The king suite with a sofa bed was a king bed and soda bed crammed into a regular size room. The receptionist was nice and very fast at checking us in. The pool was nice. The place was clean. The location was good. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean.

The rooms are a little old, but I was in the king room and possibly got a suite/upgrade so the room was plenty big! The staff is insanely friendly and there is free parking. The cracker barrel shares a parking lot so there's some decent food right there next door. The pool is salt water and heated, but minus points for no jacuzzi. Shower was a small bath tub combo, but the water pressure was awesome. Free breakfast was serviceable, scrambled eggs, waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, and juice. Free coffee is offered all day. Not a bad choice in an area with limited options.

Overall was impressed by the room at the hotel. Even during construction the staff did a great job of keeping things clean and presentable. Would stay here again if in Janesville!

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, but no microwave or mini fridge in the rooms and no hot tub in the pool area. Plus you can hear everything going on in the hallway. We stayed during a busy weekend so it's to be expected. Probably won't stay here again.
