5+ Stars for Ashley ...I have impossible hair for a white girl :) Its ridiculously thick, porous, unruly, and frankly I have to use products for ethnic hair just to keep it remotely tamed. Not complaining, I am grateful for my hair, but its more than a handful with a mind of its own. Plus a thyroid condition and hormonal changes adding to the fray. When I lived on the east coast, I had been to some of the master stylists in Connecticut and New York, as well Ive done the same since moving to Ontario ...re: colouring my hair... and it would not matter what anyone did, which products they used, how much money I invested, nor which treatments they tried (we're talking YEARS of attempts here)...My hair would still lose its color in the first washings and go black or brown on the entire bottom half. Not in a fashionable way either. One day I was admiring a professional woman's amazing hair Style and colour. When I asked her who she went to, she raved about ASHLEY at HAIR FOR A GOOD TIME in Waterdown, ON. I immediately booked and the rest is history. Ashely is an absolute Wizarding Goddess with colour. 'Ive had beautiful, even, fabulous color for years now since seeing Ashley. She wields her own magic potions and method of dealing with my hair...The salon is a comfortable no -frills fun- vibe'd salon you can be yourself at , without any pretentious pressure. They are a great crew at the salon, its always over the top buzzing busy and although a closet sized almost claustrophobic space, you always feel welcome and thrilled to book your next appointment. I cannot speak highly enough about Ashley. She is the finest , most clever colourist I've ever known. There isn't a hair challenge she cant figure out a solution for. Highly Recommend !
