Now celebrating 25 years of service in the beautiful village of Waterdown, ON located in the historical Maple Lawn House. About Face Waterdown's Salon, Spa and Laser Center boasts an atmosphere of old-world elegance, relaxation, and exceptional service.

About Face's permanent laser hair removal treatments dramatically improved the health and appearance of the skin on my lower legs.

I suffer from psoriasis, an autoimmune condition that affects the skin and is horribly exacerbated by regular shaving.  The skin on my lower legs accumulated bloody, itchy sores and welts to the point that I couldn't wear shorts in summer because people asked me what was wrong with my skin.  I considered permanent laser hair removal as an healthier, long-term alternative to shaving, but I was always a little daunted by safety concerns and the price.

I have now undergone six treatments (one or two more to go) and my lower legs are virtually clear of psoriatic lesions, something that I never achieved over years and years with medication or creams.  I have never experienced a single negative side effect, and the cost of the treatments wasn't that bad because you only have a treatment once every 4-6 weeks or so.  Tara was extremely knowledgeable about the laser treatments and gave me excellent recommendations on how to monitor and manage my skin between treatments.

I have never posted a review or endorsement on the Internet before, but I would fully recommend About Face's permanent laser hair removal to anyone with a skin problem such as psoriasis.  It really helped me, and maybe it can really help you, too.  About Face will give you a free consultation to explain the laser treatments and assess you as a candidate for permanent laser hair removal.  It was definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made to improve my health and self-esteem.

Best hair experience in a long time. Not all hairdressers can cut long hair properly but I have found a keeper at About Face. Margaret did and amazing job on my color and cut. I have received many compliments so far. I use to go to About Face for all my pampering for years till I moved out of the area seven years ago. My first visit back was amazing and I am looking forward to sampling all the other treatments with the same satisfaction!

RMT Linda, the absolute best!  There are many choices for massage therapy in my area, however; I drive a little further each and every time to see Linda since our very first appointment over 5 years ago.

Terrible experience would never recommend to anyone, rude staff especially the younger girls and theyre butchers for your hair
