Hôtel Le Chantecler

Charming hotel in a picturesque setting, good pool and restaurant. Rooms well appointed if a little dated in a charming way. The worst reception I have ever thought possible. I could have done a better job. She didn't know anything about any activities in or near the hotel. Things that the website mentions like skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing she just replies I don't know I don't know so we didn't end up doing anything. She had to ask the maintenance guy about some stuff. No help whatsoever to the point we ain't going back.

Great customer service. Employees are friendly. Would recommend anytime. Some people say it's noisy in tje rooms above the bar... it's really not..you barely hear the noise..i do not recommend the restaurant inside the hotel. Do you a favor and go outside the site and it's way better quality/price

Was a very great place 30 years ago.  Men sauna still nonfunctional, one shower closed with a plywood and molding around windows. the fireplace in the lobby is certainly nice, but without fire it is harder to appreciate. despite sking board on site connecting the Chantecler ski station to the hotel, it is not connected anymore. probably dated from when the downhill began.

Its a very cozy place with a cute little lake. We met up with our friends, who were staying at the hotel, for supper. Service was very warm and welcoming upon arrival through lobby. The restaurant was decently priced for comfort foods. There were a bunch of weddings happening that night so a lot of people walking around going in and out to smoke outside the main entrance.

Had lunch at the bistro. The burgers and fries were great! The staff is always friendly. Nice place, has a cottage feel, and is decently priced.
