Honestly such a unique experience! We did the day pass visit and were blown away by the sculpting technique and the skill. This felt like pure magic. The detail that went into every part of this ice hotel, chapel, bar, restaurant, slide, and exhibit was phenomenal. I cannot recommend stopping here any more highly! It wasn’t too crowded and had so many activities. There’s a winter playground tubing park, indoor water park, and then this ice hotel exhibit. Outdoor fire pits, etc. Staff were friendly, helpful, and very proud to assist in the upkeep of this facility. Wild that you can stay here overnight if you wanted! 10/10 this was so much fun for my entire group. It’s certainly family friendly and accessible for wheelchairs even though there is snow everywhere, they have a wheelchair on skis!. Take the time to visit this exhibit if here from January-March!

We did the hotel tour. Fantastic ice sculptures. Great concept. Really fun ice bar with drinks. We explored the rooms but didn’t find it as spectacular as rest of the ice hotel. Definitely should visit, the sculptors and builders have added so much detail on every side of the building, it’s mesmerizing!

And if that wasn’t enough, the waterpark nearby was an unexpected but amazing contrast to the icy surroundings—nothing beats the feeling of warming up in the water after a day in the snow.nnThe staff were equally exceptional, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile, they ensured that every detail of our stay was seamless. Despite being made entirely of ice, the rooms were immaculately maintained, showcasing the care and dedication that goes into keeping this incredible hotel in top shape.nnWhether you’re visiting for the art, the adventure, or the unique atmosphere, Hôtel de Glace is an absolute must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Visiting the Ice Hotel at Valcartier Village in Quebec City was like stepping into a winter fairytale. Every inch of the place—from the intricate ice-carved walls to the frozen furniture—was a masterpiece. The highlight? The ice bar, where cocktails were served in beautifully crafted ice glasses, adding to the magical experience. The sheer artistry and attention to detail made it feel like a dream. If you’re looking for something truly unique and unforgettable, this is an absolute must-visit!

Although we did not stay at the hotel, we did get a chance to walk through the ice hotel and explore the structure with so many amazing ice sculptures. Many areas were still under construction, but what was available to the public was extraordinary! We went early evening so we could see the sculptures and buildings lit up with colourful lights. Truly a sight to behold. If you have an opportunity to see the ice hotel, spend some time wandering around the facilities, you won't be disappointed!
