Gus' Pizza Place

So I was heading home I kept driving past this place. Then finally decided to give it a try. I kid you not it is one of thee best pizzas I ever had. The sauce is not too tangy not to sweet just a perfect balance of tomatoes and spices. I ordered the gus special well done and an order of chicken wings very fresh and above great quality. I will be returning every chance I get. Highly recommend.

After a long and adventurous day, we pulled into Hinton and wanting pizza. Not from a chain. And we luckily struck gold. Just chose our usual pepperoni and mushroom toppings, but the taste was FAR from usual. Great stuff!!!!

We made a quick stop here during a drive from the mountains. We called ahead because we were in a rush and they had no problem accommodating that. We were back on the road very quickly. The spinach and feta pizza was really good and definitely worth the stop in Hinton!

Glad I stopped! Best pizza I've had in the last 30,000km on my return to PDX via St. John's, Newfoundland... I think the last best place was another small town in New England.nI rarely finish a small pizza and often the small pizza isn't the same crust as the medium... which I should have gotten, the left overs would surely be delicious.nnCrust was flakey, crunchy, and soft in all the right ways, the cheese was generous and gooy... and the mash potatoes were good, too =onWould totally come back if Portland, Oregon were closer but I'll certainly be here again before the one in New England =oD
