Guido's Pizza of Ravenna

The best pizza in Portage County in my opinion. Their toppings and cheese are simply delicious. My favorite part of their pizza is actually the crust. It has a very unique texture and flavor. I've tried a whole bunch of pizza from just about everywhere around here and I can honestly say that no other compares.

Food was very good, I had the lasagna, which was a very large piece, with thick, delicious sauce and lots of ooey, gooey cheese. ..yum! They use green beans in their salads, which is unique, but tasty. Waitress was friendly and attentive. As far as physical location, place is small with limited seating. We had 6 in our party, so had to sit at the "big table ", which is very close to the door. We froze every time someone went in or out, had to eat the entire meal wearing my bulky winter coat, but it was not possible to move as this was only option for "large" party.

Guido's is always delicious, the staff is attentive, and the owner is a super nice guy. We are also using his catering services for our wedding, and he always makes us feel welcome when we meet with him, and he is very down to earth an easy to talk to. From the complimentary bread to the lasagna and chicken parmesan, you can't go wrong when eating here.

Ordered the rigatoni and meatball special for $9.49. It came with a small side salad topped with shredded cheese, black olives, cucumber, and green beans. Both the rigatoni and salad were delicious! Guido's always serves a huge pasta meal--so much that I've had two additional meals out of it at home this week! The meal was accompanied with a never-ending supply of warm Italian bread. When our son David visits from out of town oh, he always wants to stop at Guido's for pasta or pizza. Service was good. The only downside is that you are not able to order beer or wine with your meal as they do not serve alcohol.

I love Guido's! Their friend chicken is the best and you have to try the chicken parmesan. A great local place.
