Guac Mexi Grill

I walked into Guac today and I ordered steak burrito. The lady at the front informed me that the burrito sizes were changed. I used to order regular size before but the new regular size is too small for me so I ordered the large size. The meat and veggie portion was plenty and they have new type of salsa now which I really liked. However, I was shocked to find out that they had increased the prices. I asked them and the lady told me that the prices were increased higher due to the new high minimum wage in Ontario. It is sad but I have been noticing that the prices have gone up everywhere recently so not really the restaurant’s fault. The food quality was great as always!

My wife and I had the big carnitas burrito and the kids got regular size small burritos. The price was on the slightly expensive side; however, the freshness and the taste made up for it. The Mexican flavour was definitely there. The place was nice and clean from inside and servers were very friendly.

Food quality and portion size have gone down hill a lot recently. The burrito I had today the beans and rice were under cooked and hard, flavor has been lacking, very little meat and overall the burrito was small.  Size alone made it not worth the $10.    Hope things change but I wont be back for a while.

The food was fine, ok, not great. However we ate in the restaurant. They did not care at all that patrons were sitting there eating. The girl from behind the counter, came out front and starting cleaning. She slammed chairs around and grated them across the floor, with absolutely no regard to customers. I actually looked up and glared at her it was so noisy. She then toned it down slightly, but not much. There is much better places in Brantford, I would NOT go here again.

The best thing about this place is all the meat is cooked and cut in the restaurant right in front of the customers and all the sauces are also made in the kitchen rather than buying everything frozen. You can taste both the flavour and freshness in the food. Must-try place in the town.
