Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

Drive through is painfully slow. Usual good food. Exactly what you’d expect but I strongly recommend avoiding the drive thru.

Ordered a beef kaiser with mashed potatoes side.  Beef was okay, kind of bland.  Gravy was okay, didn't enhance the taste of the beef.  It was meat and bun, nothing else.  Not sure if there was anything like horseradish, didn't detect any.
Potatoes were meh, nothing to write home about.  I got a single scoop, so with that and the sandwich I left still hungry.

We went to swiss chalet today with my daughter's. We waited 45 mins for our food....food was terrible fries were still frozen my daughter's veggies were cold and not cooked. The waiter came to give us our water and he spilled it all over me and the table. The water went all over my cell phone(which is not working now and I will be getting cell phone people to verify water damage) and the water soked all the inside of my purse. The guy just throws his hands up in the air and walks away. The manager came and told us she would take care of our bill for our troubles and I said to her what about me....I'm soaked....my purse was soaked....my cell was soaked. Then the waiter comes and gives me a bill for over $38.00!!!! You will be hearing more from me when I receive confirmation of water damage of my cell. Such terrible service and terrible food.

Service was extremely slow.  We waited for well over an hour and a half for our food as others who came in after us were served (wit the same size party).  We were offered ONE free dessert for the entire table for our troubles.  One free dessert = $6-$7.  Not awesome compensation.

The waitress looked overworked (not her fault at all), and she forgot part of our order.

We ordered the spinach dip appetizer and it was runny. The chicken was dry but oily (deep fried instead of rotisserie, I assume).

Not impressed with this location.

Had we seen the earlier review mentioning moldy chicken, we would not have gone to this location.

Staff are ok if you eat in and restaurant is clean and newly renovated. Take out is a mess. Always stand there waiting while people walk right by you. Be aggressive and find someone or could be there a while.
