Gros Morne / Norris Point KOA

About

Our campground is located in the centre of Gros Morne National Park! We have great tenting and RVing areas along with cabins. Fun for the whole family!

Story

Join in a campfire sing-along as dusk falls and lake mists rise at Newfoundland's first and only KOA. This secluded campground sits in a wooded valley at the center of Gros Morne National Park, an area so spectacular it has been designated a World Heritage Site. Campsites overlook a majestic mountain lake, perfect for swimming and boating (pedal boat and canoe rentals available). Walk the "Moose Path" along its shore. Endless trails-some easy, some demanding-explore the contours and vistas of this stunning land. Join interpretive kayak tours to glide among glacier-carved fjords. Kids get their own interpretive hikes and crafts. You'll all want to become honorary Newfoundlanders with the KOA's initiation "screech-in."

Best KOA in the world, maybe. Beautiful scenery in an amazing national park. We had a 37' RV and had a fully service site with privacy. Very clean and well maintained. The most amazing thing is the trail around the lake. Highly recommended

This is the first time we've stayed at a KOA. It was much nicer than we expected. We had a very nice unserviced site right on the lake, with a good amount of privacy. All of the sites looked roomy -- at least as nice as the Berry Hill campground site in the National Park that we stayed at the night before. Bathrooms were perfectly decent.

Clean bathrooms and staff were great. Campsites were clean as well and the views were amazing. Staff knew answers to everything we asked like where to get groceries, and the best hiking trails.

We loved our short time at this KOA and wish we had stayed longer! The water and electric sites are ver y private and quiet. The campground is very pet friendly and has a fenced in area for dogs. There is a beautiful lake with a trail around it as well. We came here from the GrosMorne campground down the road and paid 5 dollars less per night. If you're trying to choose between the two, choose the KOA. The full hookup sites are less private but the campground overall has more amenities.

Best national park campsite I have ever been to. Offers a great view of the mountains and is a perfect central point to plan your Gros Morne activities. Hot, private showers. Very clean washroom. Cheap laundry on site. Free wifi covers almost the entire campsite.
