Gritty McDuff's Auburn Brew Pub

My favorite location out of all their locations! Not too small but not so big you feel overwhelmed. Bar itself isn’t too big, but there are cut out windows on the opposite side you can pull a stool up to as well. Lots of live music regularly (and more often than not its good music too... which is important). Love to go on a nice sunny day and sit on the deck over looking the river. Very relaxing. Pub style is my go to brew but many delicious choices to choose from.

Food, beverages and service are good. When we are back in town for a visit, this is always a planned stop to see and chat with old friend.. relaxed atmosphere. Great deck over looking androscoggin river. In the summer months

Packed when we went, and there was live music. Atmosphere was good. The beer was OK but not special. One of our party said her cocktail was nothing special either. Ditto the food. I'd go again, but it wouldn't be top of my list.

Food is really great and filling. This building has one of the better atmospheres in Lewiston and Auburn, love the old exposed brick. There is often live music and a couple TV's that show sporting events. It is a busy place often but the service always seems to be fast and the food comes quickly. Their own brewed beer is good, but it is the major down side. They do not seem to brew much beyond what they have always brewed and don't offer any new styles. This place is first and foremost a restaurant and not what many would think of a brewery. My favorite is the Black Fly stout and their loaded Mac and cheese!

Really good food and great staff. Would totally recommend the Mac and cheese. Top notch.
